HAIM covering Beyoncé (in the BBC Radio One Live Lounge)
It's hard to cover Beyoncé. It took these 3 badass girls to do it, and they had to go all the way across the pond too. Say what you will about HAIM, they did a great job with this cover. It gets better every time I watch it. Check out more covers from the BBC Radio One Live Lounge Here.
Dierks Bentley - RISER
This blog has a strong country influence, and I won't apologize for it. Blame it on how I was raised, or the fact that I live and work in Nashville now... I don't care. If you're one of those people that listens to "pretty much everything BUT country", you're missing out. It's not all just tan legs and tailgates. Give Dierks a shot, just this once. For me. AND check out his CMT Crossroads with One Republic (airing in March). I was at the taping and completely blown away.
Recommended "Hurt Somebody" and "Say You Do".

STILL OBSESSED: The Kooks
The Kooks were my first British band crush. (I see you The 1975). I go back to them occasionally but they're not a staple in my rotation, mainly because they haven't put much out recently. BUT I was scoping SXSW showcase lineups this past week and saw their name and immediately dove headfirst back into their catalogue. I recommend Konk as a whole. Now I'm wishing I had it on vinyl. A quick glance over their socials shows me that they're playing US shows again, so I can only hope this means a new album will follow soon.
